BRETT SMOCK

Brett is the Producing Artistic Director of the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival in Auburn, NY, where Treasure Island had its regional premiere in 2016.  In addition to Treasure Island, Brett has written the book for The Mudge Boy and is dedicated to the development of new musicals.  Director / Choreographer highlights include Tim Rice’s new blockbuster, From Here To Eternity, the world and regional premiere of Treasure Island, the world premiere of the new production of Saturday Night Fever, the regional premiere of The Light In The Piazza, the Russian premiere of They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?, the world premiere of Becoming George and new productions of Sondheim’s Putting It Together and Stardust.  Brett lives in NYC and Auburn, NY, holds several adjunct faculty positions and is a member of Actors Equity Association, SDC and the Dramatists Guild.  www.fingerlakesmtf.com

CARLA VITALE

(BOOK / DRAMATURGE / EDUCATION CONSULTANT)

Carla has studied dance and choreography with many greats including the Martha Graham and Jose Limon Dance Companies, Ruth Currier, Bertram Ross, Martha Meyers, Alvin Ailey, Garth Fagan, American Dance Machine, the American Dance Festival and Nona Schurman of the Humphrey-Weidman Company.  Carla has choreographed over 40 productions including a national tour of Annie (Martin Charnin, Production Supervisor), entertainment for Regency Cruises and the Eastman Kodak Company.  Original productions include Rhapsody: A Gershwin Tribute (Workshop, ATA, NYC), Treasure Island - A New Musical (World Premier Arkansas Repertory Theatre 2013), May God Strike Me Dead If I'm Telling a Lie (Geva Theatre Next Stage) and The Littlest Witch (Auburn Public Theatre).  She is a member of the Dramatists Guild.

CORINNE AQUILINA

(Composer / Lyricist / Musical Director)

Corinne is Musical Director for the US premiere of Tim Rice’s From Here to Eternity and Theatrical Rights World Wide’s Saturday Night Fever. New York and tour credits include arranger/musical director for the long-running off-Broadway show Menopause, The Musical, and musician in the Broadway orchestras of The Boy From Oz, Annie, Five Guys Named Moe and The Great American Trailer Park Musical. Other arranger credits include R&H Library's Sophisticated Ladies. In addition to Treasure Island, The Musical, original projects include The Littlest Witch, licensed by Steele Spring Theatricals and PUMP N GO, a new musical.  Regional productions include Hairspray, The Drowsy Chaperone, The Full Monty, 42nd Street, Five Guys Named Moe, Smokey Joe's Cafe, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Cabaret, Chicago, Miss Saigon, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Evita, La Cage aux Folles, My Fair Lady, The King & I, The Sound of Music, Nunsense, Oliver!, Tintypes, Brigadoon, Kiss Me, Kate, Anything Goes, Dames at Sea, Singin’ in the Rain, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Damn Yankees and Daddy Long Legs. Corinne is Assistant Professor and Program Director for the BFA Musical Theatre program at Nazareth College of Rochester. She is resident Musical Director at the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival. Corinne is a member of the Dramatists Guild, ASCAP and AFM Local 802.
